NYC 2014 Holiday Displays You Shouldn't Miss + X'mas Town

2014 is coming to an end. As a lot of you are getting ready for the big night tonight, I am wrapping up my final post of 2014.

I want to revisit some wonderful x'mas sights I encountered in NY prior to my trip to Asia. Here are some fabulous window displays from Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy's in New York and didn't get a chance to show you. The theme at Saks Fifth is fairy tales, with a NY twist...

With the caption on the window
"Once upon a time in New York,....
Snow White asked,
Vendor vendor on the street, what's the safest thing to eat?"

"Once upon a time in New York....
Sleeping beauty had trouble adjusting to the city that never sleeps..."

"Once upon a time in New York...
Cinderella fall madly in love -
with a pair of designer shoes!"

"Once upon a time in New York...
The maidens who lunch wanted to know,
Rapunzel Rapunzel, who does your hair?"

"Once upon a time in New York....
Rumbelstiltskin was the most feared spin class instructor in all the land..."

"Once upon a time in New York...
Red Riding Hood gasped,
Oh my, what a big suite you have...

Even Red Riding Hood uses Chanel N˚5!

Macy's, on the other hand, went for a space adventure with Santa Claus....

To celebrate 2014 Christmas, NASA put up a Christmas tree on the Moon!

I really love the details on Earth with all the NY iconic landmarks and the animated Macy's Annual Thanksgiving Parade!

This is something that a lot of you probably don't know about in New York. During the holiday season, an area located in South Brooklyn turns into a Christmas wonderland where you will find decorated homes all over the neighborhood. There were nearly a hundred of them, and it was pretty amazing!!

Here is a slideshow of the other houses in Brooklyn.... Some of them even have 20 feet tall Christmas displays in front of their houses, it was pretty ridiculous!
If you are planning to come visit New York next Christmas, do stop by Dyker Height in Brooklyn for their once a year Christmas light show!

Thank you again for all your support this year, I will be back in 2015.
Have a wonderful New Year y'all!!!
